This Anxiety Release Guided Meditation & Hypnotherapy session is aimed at people who might be feeing anxious, overwhelmed, out of control or fearful.
At present 40% of disability worldwide is due to depression and anxiety . The most recent Psychiatric Morbidity Survey indicates that there are some 6 million people in the UK (approximately 3 million with depression as their primary problem and 3 million with an anxiety disorder). Worries, fears and anxieties are not usually physically or mentally damaging and are necessary responses if we are in danger. But we need to make our anxieties work for us. They can become a problem when they are exaggerated or when you lose perspective and feel anxiety when there is no need to worry or be afraid.
When frightening thoughts occupy the mind they trigger changes in the way we feel in our body and in our emotions and these changes can happen very rapidly and without our awareness hence we react to danger rather than think about it. This explains why we can’t just stop our fear responses and why we feel so helpless in our reactions as we are simply ‘programmed’ that way.
This audio can help you re-programme your mind to stop worry and anxiety and to replace the negative unwanted thoughts and behaviours with positive, calm ones.
